Meet Dr. Sandy Jernigan
With over eight years of experience in small animal medicine, Dr. Jernigan takes pride in tailoring care plans to each pet’s unique needs, recognizing that the “gold standard” isn’t always the only solution. She values building meaningful relationships with pet owners, ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and supported in every decision.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jernigan enjoys exploring the outdoors with Blaine, her husband and partner in crime for more than 15 years through hiking, kayaking, and visiting national parks. A dedicated mother of two, she balances her passion for veterinary care with her love for family, art, and reading. Her holistic approach to life is reflected in her practice, where she strives to create a compassionate environment for pets, clients, and her team alike.

“My name is Beverly! I joined the Veterinary field in 2017 after owning a small cattle farm. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I am also a mom to two fur puppies Missy and Bam Bam and one fur cat, Ms Kitty.
I love working with animals! I started riding horses at two years old and my love for animals has grown more and more over the years.
In the beginning of my Veterinary career, I had the pleasure of working with Dr. J at a previous employer. I was so blessed to be able to re-join her in this new adventure of opening her own clinic! In my off time, I love spending time with my family and two of my grandchildren. I love kayaking, camping, riding horses and fishing.
I am looking forward to seeing and helping some of my previous pet parents and looking forward to meeting so many more. Those precious fur babies are so much fun to work with and the reason I do what I do. I want to thank everyone in advance for trusting us with your four legged babies and allowing me to love on and enjoy time with them!”

“I’ve been dedicated to the field of veterinary medicine in the NWA area for over 10 years. I’ve always known I wanted to work in the veterinary industry, and from the moment I started at a local clinic, I knew I had found my passion. I have a special interest in pet nutrition, behavioral health, and diagnostic imaging, and I’m especially focused on discovering the root cause of issues and empowering pet owners through education. I truly believe that compassion, empathy, and dedication are the foundations for making a real difference in the lives of pets and their families.
Outside of work, I’m a proud wife and a devoted mom to a spirited son and a loving bonus daughter. Our home is filled with love—and fur—thanks to our loyal German Shepherd and one sweet cat. My love for animals doesn’t stop at the clinic doors; it’s woven into every part of my life. Whether I’m helping a pet heal, guiding an owner through a tough decision, or simply sharing a quiet moment with my own furry companions, my dedication shines through in all I do. For me, veterinary care isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling, and one I’m proud to live every single day.
